This is a template polygon feature class used to delineate both deep- and shallow-seated landslide deposits using the methods described in the protocol. Only landslide deposits visible in lidar (light detection and ranging) derivative datasets should be delineated in this feature class, and no deposits inferred from aerial/orthoimagery, field reconnaissance, or other techniques should be included. This feature class only includes attribute fields the analyst can populate remotely. This feature class is part of a larger landslide inventory dataset for Washington State. Polygons in this feature class are related with polygons in the scarps_and_flanks feature class, and polylines in the scarps feature class, by using the LANDSLIDE_ID primary key field.

This template feature class was produced to store attribute and spatial information on landslides in Washington State.
